I'm Victor... I live in Chula Vista, CA, and am currently finishing high school, graduating in 2011. I like to take pictures and write music. On here you'll find my pictures. I have no training, I've just practiced because it's great fun. My grandpa gave me his Minolta film SLR setup in late February 2010, and since then I've always loved taking pictures. They really change how I look at places/events/people/earth/life.

Here's the equipment I use for anyone who's interested.

Primary:

-1973 Pentax ES
-SMC Takumar & Super-Takumar lenses - 28mm f/3.5, 50mm f/1.8, 55mm f/1.4, 105mm f/2.8.

Secondary:

-Minolta X-370
-Assorted lenses, favorite - 50mm Minolta/Rokkor f/1.7

Film:

My favorites are Fujichrome Provia 100F and Velvia 50, both slide films. However, they are expensive. Many pictures on here are just various color negatives (Kodak Ektar, Fuji 400, expired 800, mainly). I used to have a darkroom for developing Black and White film. I lost interest and sold it all.

Extras:

I use a cheap tripod that's a pain to work with. But that's life. For filters, I occasionally use a Hitech 2-stop soft graduated ND, or less frequently a Cokin 3-stop hard ND. I also might use a regular 2-stop ND, circular polarizer, and... that's about it :).
